I built the websites last year, but I was still testing out plugins and features when the migraine storms started last summer. I resurrected the sites, cleaned out unneeded plugins and features, stream line some things, and started building the calendar of events, posts, and structure for the new release schedule we are aiming for. I updated Scrivener, and I’m rebuilding the files, because some of these have been through so many drastically different types of edits, the files are a wreck. Even the google drive files are incomplete. It will probably take a week to rebuild everything with what I have and then I will probably be rewriting hunks of the story from memory moving forward. It is what is.
My goal is to finish these by June 2026. I won’t be waiting around trying to find a previous version that had something already written, I’ll just be writing it again and moving on. The goal is finished, as is, and my perfectionist hyper focus is gonna have to take the hit this year. It’s been in control for far to long. I’m using positivity towards myself, kindness, and weaponizing my oppositional defiance to beat the crap out of the perfectionist voice in my head. Think it will work?
